CSS - Alala and Let's Make Love and Listen Death From Above. So dancy and fun. I love the way they sing. I liked the album too, I'll have to listen to it a bit more.
Micachu and the Shapes - Jewellery. Great album. You could listen to it over and over, and I probably will. You hear new beeps and boops every time. Micachu (Mica Levi) is also a big brain behind one of my favourite albums ever, Devotion by Tirzah. I think Mica Levi is one of those music geniuses.
100 gecs - money machine. Am trying to like 1000 gecs but it's just not completely there yet for me. Money machine is such a good pop song though. After listening to Valentins playlist of them I'm liking them more đ
Rachel Sweet - Fool Around. A very up and down album. Some great highs and some low lows. Have only listened to it in full once, I just keep coming back to the great songs off of that album. Tack till P3 skivhyllan. It's So Different Here really feels like being transported to a different world.
Scott Walker - Scott 2. It's so good. So dramatic, very funny at times. Love Jacques Brel, I guess most of it is his doing. Gets that kind of strange, mysterious sound from Scott Walker though, like in Plastic Palace People. I know that every single night When my angelic work was through The angels and the Devil too Would sing my childhood song to me About the time they called me JACKIE!
Burt Bacharach - Living together. Cissy Houston, Diana Houstons mom sang half of my favourite track ⬇️ of the album, which I found interesting. Didn't know anything about her, nor that Whitney Houston had family in the music business, but apparently she was a backup singer for musicians like Elvis and Aretha Franklin. She also sang with Dionne Warwick, who she's the aunt of. Tony Middleton is the male singer on the song. According to his wiki and personal website (https://www.tonymiddletonmusic.com/bio.html) he was in a doo wop group called the Willows which had 1 hit song, and since then he's meddled in Broadway and various projects here and there. He has a very lovely voice.
Pinkpantheress - to hell with it. Just a great album. Really good pop, easy to listen to and easy to love. I like to listen to it when I go on walks in the evening. It's basically a 10/10 album. She released a new track last month which I missed, Turn Your Phone Off, listened to it now and am liking it. WOW! she's good.
MUNA and Phoebe Bridgers - Silk Chiffon. It's made me start rollerskating again. Very good and happy summery song. <3
